The inportant thing about Adelei is that she is an amazing mathematican.
Adelei is cuddly,kind and outstanding.
Adelei like to do art, play and sing.
But the inportant thing about Adelei is that she is an amazing mathematican.

Rm14 Field of Remembrance.

On Tuesday Room 14 did the field of remembrance. Room 14 made the field of remembrance by the flag pole. We made the crosses out of white wood and a double sided tape. It had there name and a sticker that represents where they are from and it has a poppy on the sticker. We made the field of  remembrance because it is to remember the people that gave there life to us and to be free. People can come and see the work we did by the flag pole.

Last week room 14 went to camp and did our over night camp. It was awesome :)

Tabloids Sports

On Friday we had tabloids. My favourite part at Tabloids is the sack race. The hardest part for tabloids is the tug of war. This year for tug of war Rm 14 didn't win. I was hoping that they would win this year. It was really fun :)

Athletics

Tomorrow at athletics it is going to be a big day. I am feeling really nervous and excited. My favourite event is 200m run and throwing. I still need to achieve high jump and 200m run. But it is still is my favourite event. Tomorrow I am excited because my brother is coming to vardon and he is going watch the school do athletics. He is also going to wear his Hamilton junior high uniform. I am really excited.

Athletics

I liked practicing 200m run and throwing so far because I've liked sprinting since last year and throwing is easy . I have learned to sprint while I am running on the track. I've practiced my 200m run around my house and throwing at the park.  

100 WC

It was a dark, gloomy afternoon in the depths of the woods.  I was in my spooky house that night and a stone had broken my window. Then a cat walked up to me and meowed. When I was walking home my house was lifted by an invisible man. He is strong, he is bad and he is glad that he is lifting my house. He thinks that it is funny. It was dawn and I went into my pool. I was training for swimming. Invisible man would think that I am the strongest. My eyes turned green with anger. To Be Continued.

Healthy Eating

Long Jump

Room7 had 2 lessons for long jump and has been learning long jump for athletics. Our third lesson is tomorrow afternoon. There are some things that you need to do for long jump.

• run up
• one foot to jump on
• land on two feet
• use our arms to get high

Coraline

My group was reading a book called Coraline.
We read each chapter everyday.

This is coraline dressed as a scare crow.This is the other mother holding the key.

I like the part when Coraline was dressed as a scare crow.
The part that I didn't like was when the three kids who was alive many of years ago because the tallest one had black eyes ,she was also the bedlam.
My group has been reading Coraline the book for days. We were reading each chapter everyday until the book is finished.

Today I did maths with my math group. In my group there is, Niall,Kaspar,Hayley,Hannah and Lucy. Here are some tidy tens and place value question.

1. 10+50=60+12=72
2. 40+20=60+7=67+2=69
3. 30+10=40+9=49+3=102

Treasure Hunt With my Best Friends

Today Tegan,Manaia, Tegan's sister Mila and I went to the Hamilton gardens for an treasure hunt.
Before we did the treasure hunt we all had biscuits in the car and then we jumped out of the car got our treasure hunt paper and ready to go. We started off at the Japanese garden and then we went on and on and on. Then we went to the fish 'n' chip shop and then we went to another shop we saw Mrs Natusch and Mr Natusch. Then we went to tegan's and we had hot chips.
Here are some questions for you.

Q.1 The maple tree leaf changes with each season. What colours can you think of today.
Q.2 Where does the doves live, it is called dovecot.
Q.2 What types of vegetables can you think of.

The Deep Pool

The deep pool was cold as ice. Too deep to touch the ground. I am the smallest in my group but I don't care .I'm not here to be tall i'm here to learn swimming. I don't need to be small, I don't care if i can't touch the ground in the cold deep pool. Now its time to have freeplay in the warm pool and i'm warmed up and I love swimming in the warm pool. Now its time to get changed. Room7 walks back to school.

Maths

For the past couple of days I did maths about my name. We coloured our letters then I cut them out and I glued them on coloured paper. Here is an example. My letter A is 18cm squared.

My Plane

On Thursday I was drawing a Plane with my class Room 7. We all did our own one. lift is up and gravity is down. Drag is facing to left and trust is facing to the right. We drew our own one on the computers. It took time drawing my plane. Did you know that a plane has two power sources? The wind going under the wing is going faster and the wind going under the wing is going slower.

Hot Air Balloons

For the past couple of day I was doing a thinglink with my buddy Niall. We did it about hot air balloons.
We wrote facts all around the balloon. We did alot.

My Wast To Wow

First we drawed the a space alien so we know what we a doing.
Next we saw a photo on the ipad and we did a different alien. We blowed up a balloon for a mask and we cut strippes of paper and if it takes to long we put some paper towel on so it dosen't take to long.
After we have finish our balloon we have to pva glue and we stick a clear pice of paper at the back and we paint them and when it was dryed we cut around it.
We used old jump jam suits and we wanted to have a eye on the jump jam suite.

My Flying Planes.

One day I made this paper plane years ago.

In 2012 I got blind.

I wish that I can see what is going on.

I closed my eyes and I painted a picture in my head.

I saw... 

My plane dived down to the ground.

It flies like the howling wind.

It's like the speed of a car.

It lands softly to the ground.

Look at it twirl and whirl.

It swoops up and around.

It's gliding though the air.

It twirls down to the ground like a falling leaf.

I opened my eyes and when I went to bed I couldn't stop talking about my paper plane, So I just dreamt about it.
