My Holiday

In the holidays I went down to Glenview to see my nana's, who came up from Palmerton north. On Tuesday before the leave I went down to say goodbye and I my nana said if I want to go down and I said yes. Then we went back home and get some clothes. Then we went back to Glenview. My nana who lives in Glenview came to palmerston north with her dog, Chloe. then we were leaving and I said goodbye to my dad, mum and also brother. For lunch we had fish 'n' chips and we went past, this mountain. It took a day to get to palmerston north. When we got to our nana's house we were ripping bread because she feeds the birds every morning. We fed the birds with bread and bird seeds. Then we went back to bed because it was to early and old. In the morning I had toast for breakfast. There is this holiday park and it is called the esplanade. It has got two trampling's a train, little kids playground, jungle house, flying fox, bird cages and last is the small pool. In the cages are kea, kaka, peacock, different ducks, chicks a rooster and plenty more. The next day we went to this park and it is called the memorial park where the free swimming pools are. I made two friends in palmerston north. The esplanade closes on school days and winter. I had the best time in palmerston north.

Temple View

On the 14th December I went to the temple view at night. It was awesome.

We took a photo of the temple and we started to go and take photo's of the colourful houses.

This is Rudolf the rain deer house they put this up every Christmas. Then we went to town.

In town they light there tree every night. I had so much fun I went to sleep zzzz

Hi my name is Adelei and I am working with Anushka she is a senior.

This year we liked camp, going on a bush walk, the production and swim safe.

We learnt kitchen chemistry, patterns, fairytale writing and art.

The most challenging part was the 100 word challenge and athletics.

I had fun this year and typing with Anushka .

Kapa Haka

This is me and I am getting ready for kapa haka.

Living In A Volcano

Once there was a girl could Rebecca was going into a hot living volcano. She got a ladder so she can feel what is like in there. She said that it feels like it is steaming hot! Then Rebecca saw  it night time then she went home. When it was morning Rebecca went back to the volcano and she got her hover board and she surfed in the volcano and she had straps around her feet so she would not go in the lava. Rebecca had on electric gloves on because she wants to hit it on the lava wall in the volcano. She only want to hit it on the wall because she thinks it is fun. Rebecca saw it night time again and she went home and she fell asleep. The next day Rebecca came to the volcano and she saw it melting in the volcano and it was boiling in the volcano. Rebecca went home and put something cold so she would not get hot or sick. When Rebecca came back she saw it melting again but she was all right and she surfed in the lava and she did not do it fast because she will get hurt. She did it very carefully and the lava was going bigger and bigger and bigger suddenly...the lava flooded and everything is melting and the lava was almost going to Rebecca's house and then Rebecca  fell and something catches her and it was a...JET PACK. She was so excited and she was very luck that all the jet packs saved everyone and they flew all the way to a airplane and everyone want to keep the jet packs and the people had jet packs they flew out and went to the lava but they didn't touch the lava and they were only half way and they went to another street and it had a volcano and it will never flud again. Rebecca and her family saw a house with a brick wall and a giant brick house and it has lots of rooms. THE END

My favourite part in term 3 is that I did my culture research about Scotland. I put my ideas into a book. I made a book using book creator. 

100WC

One sunny day I went down stairs and underground. There was no light at all. I was so scared that I couldn’t find a way out! I heard a strange noise. I looked behind me and there was nothing there. I heard the noise again then I looked behind again then I saw something creepy and it was a 1000 eyed monster.
I was shocked! I ran, ran ,and ran until the monster got tired. There was still no light and I ran quickly because the monster was chasing me again! When I woke up it was a nightmare! I hate nightmares.

Suddenly I Heard A Crack... One stormy night there was a girl called Rebecca and she was standing next to her family. Then...suddenly I heard a crack in my house. Rebecca and my family were looking around the house. Rebecca felt something dripping on her head. Then she stepped back and looked up. Rebecca was running to her family quickly. Then Rebecca told her mum and dad “I found the crack mum it is in the kitchen.”Dad and mum went to the kitchen to have a look. Mum and dad went to the kitchen and they saw an enormous puddle and the roof stopped dripping.

Kapa Haka

What I like about kapa haka is when we do new songs.At kapa haka we first practice then we go on the stage to perform our kapa haka.On the 10th of September we will be peroforming our kapa haka to the school and parents.We are going to have so much fun on the 10th of September at kapa haka.

Big foot

Big Foot Last week my dad and I went to the beach. "Dad there is a massive foot on the sand!" I thought it was big foot and it was! We decided to have ice cream. Then we went home. We went back to the beach and the footprint was still there! Then we covered the footprint with sand. Then big foot came back to the beach and I was frightened and I went back to the car but all of a sudden...BIG FOOT STEPPED ON MY DADS CAR! I screamed and then big foot went home and we lived happily ever after.

Every year when the Matariki stars shine...

Every year when the Matariki stars shine we celebrate   Matariki and set up fireworks. We also have dance parties and we all love to celebrate Matariki. When we celebrate for Matariki we always set up awesome things and people will stay and watch them. Fireworks starts at 9:30 and the kids were scared. One year we were all ready to set up the fireworks but we had something better we set up lanterns and they were everywhere.The lanterns were shiny. Everyone set them up and we had an awesome celebration. We had a dance party and fireworks with the lanterns.

As the sun came out

As the sun came out...

There was a girl called Megan and she did not like the sun going down. She was very scared when the sun came down. So Megan thought she could travel around the world and find the sun so she does not get scared.

Megan went to pack her stuff so she could find a house  when she is tired. She went to stay at a hotel! because it is worm inside the hotel. She loves to do reading and doing a race and she is always the winner. When she packs her stuff she went back and she saw the sun came out.
